Laskennallisia arvoja ovat ilman lämpötilan vuorokausikeskiarvo ja sateen vuorokausikertymä. Mitattuja arvoja ovat ilman minimi- ja maksimilämpötila, maanpinnan minimilämpötila ja lumensyvyys. Ilman lämpötilan ääriarvot mitataan 06 ja 18 UTC ja maanpinnan minimilämpötila 06 UTC. Nämä kuvaavat ääriarvoja edellisen 12 tunnin (klo 18-06 ja 06-18 UTC) jakson ajalta.
