Dataset description

Koosteiden maastoerotuskyky on 500 metriä. Pintalevähavainnot perustuvat a-klorofyllin ja sameuden määrään. Aineistot on laskettu Envisat MERIS (Medium Resolution Imaging Spectrometer) instrumentin 3rd Reprocessing datasta. a-klorofyllipitoisuus on tulkittu käyttäen neuroverkkolaskentaan perustuvaa FUB-mallia (Freie University of Berlin) (Shcroeder et al., 2007). Sameus on tulkittu mallilla, joka perustuu C2R-neuroverkkoon (Case-2 Regional), (Brockmann et al. 2016; Doerffer et al. 2007; 2008a; 2008b). Aineiston käyttötarkoitus: Itämeren vedenlaadun seuranta, levätiedotus. Aineisto kuuluu SYKEn avoimiin aineistoihin (CC BY 4.0). *** **[EN]** The annual Baltic Sea offshore algae composite is a combination of all surface floating algae bloom observations in the summerly cyanobacteria bloom period. The data covers Baltic Sea offshore areas. Surface algae bloom data is produced using a four-class interpretation map that describes the probability of the occurrence of surface algae blooms.  Algae classes are: 1) no, 2) potential, 3) likely and 4) evident surface algae. Annual composites describe the extent of surface algae blooms during June-August. The composites from years 2003–2011 are made with a ground resolution of 500 meters. Surface algal observations are based on the amount of chlorophyll-a and turbidity using the 3rd Reprocessing data of the Envisat MERIS (Medium Resolution Imaging Spectrometer) instrument. Chl-a was modelled using the FUB model based on neural network computation (Freie University of Berlin) (Shcroeder et al., 2007).  The turbidity estimation is based on a C2R neural network model  (Case-2 Regional), (Brockmann et al. 2016; Doerffer, et al. 2007; 2008a; 2008b).  Purpose of use: Monitoring of water quality in the Baltic Sea, algal watch. *** ## Viitteet / References [Anttila, S., Fleming-Lehtinen, V., Attila, J., Junttila S., Alasalmi, H., Hällfors, H., Kervinen, M., Koponen, S., (2018). Questions before production use

Practical answers on evaluation, licensing, freshness, versioning and support.

api.store is built and operated by Apitalks s.r.o. Company details and a direct contact path are linked in the footer for vendor checks and procurement review.
Yes. Selected APIs include a free API quota, so your team can validate coverage, freshness, response shape and workflow fit before asking for a production plan.
Often yes, but usage rights depend on the source license and dataset. We surface source, license and update metadata where available, and can help review terms before a production integration.
Maintained APIs include update metadata where available. For production integrations, we can add history, monitoring and push updates so changes are easier to detect and act on.
Production APIs can add SLA, stable identifiers, versioning support, history, push updates and direct support around the data your product or AI workflow depends on.
