Vantaa City Museum materials

Vantaa City Museum has opened its photographic, object and archival material as well as its information on cultural environment sites openly licensed through the Finna service. Finna has different layers of Vantaa’s history: archaeological excavations lead a long way to history, while aerial photographs show the city’s transformation from above. There are objects and pictures of the Håkansböle manor, Leonardo da Vilhu’s treasures, everyday life and products at the Tikkurila Silkkitehdas, buildings lost in the streetscape and much more. The photos published in the Finna service of Vantaa City Museum can be used freely, also for commercial use. For advertising purposes, the permission of the persons in the pictures is required. In connection with the photo, the Vantaa City Museum and photographer (if known) must be mentioned. The photos displayed in the service are printable high-resolution images. Materials are being added and the service is constantly being developed.
