Dataset description

Historical Municipalities and Associations of the City of Turku from the 1930s to the present (2011). The border material has been digitised in the Association of Southwest Finland based on the maps published in Olavi Laisaari’s work “Government Plan for Turku and the City Development Programme” (1952) and Veikko Laakso’s work “Åbo stads history 1918-1970” (1980). The material is suitable for general theme map use. The data have been transferred from the southwest data portal.
