Carbon base®

**Version**: carbon base® V23.0 **See** follow-up of changes made by V23.0 The Carbone® Base is a public database of emission factors, necessary for the completion of a greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions balance and more generally any carbon accounting exercise. It is the reference database of Article 75 of the Grenelle II Act, concerning the obligation to carry out a GHG balance sheet for companies with more than 500 employees, public establishments with more than 250 employees and communities with more than 50000 inhabitants. Administered by ADEME, its governance is multi-stakeholder:14 members comprise it such as the Ministry of Ecological and Solidarity Transition (MTES), the Mouvement des entreprises de France (MEDEF), the Climate Action Network (RAC), the Association des Professionnels en Conseil Climat (APCC), etc. Find the full description of the Base in the “Carbon Base” section of the Base Empreinte site, as well as all its documentation explaining the scope and sources of the data proposed to ensure a robust use of the data. **For any questions**, do not hesitate to contact us via base-empreinte@ademe.fr
