Occupational exposure to ionising radiation in Europe

The European Platform for Occupational Radiation Exposure (ESOREX) (https://esorex-platform.org/) is an open data collaborative database that centralises information on occupational exposure to ionising radiation in Europe. It provides a better understanding of exposure levels in various industry sectors and member countries. This data is valuable for researchers, health authorities, employers and any person or institution interested in radiation protection. In particular, they make it possible to: * To analyse occupational exposure to ionising radiation. * Compare dose levels across countries, years, sectors and subsectors of activity. * To identify developments and trends in the field of occupational radiation protection. Published data are statistical data grouped into 4 files updated annually, one per dose type (whole body, crystalline (eyes), skin, extremities).  The files have different but similar structures, and each has the same main columns, criteria on which statistics are made:  * The country concerned (France, Greece, Slovenia …) * Reference year (since 2010) * Sector of activity (medical, industry, transport …) * The sub-sector of activity (radiological diagnosis, … dental radios) * Type of dose measured: * E (effective dose): the Effective Dose * Hp10 (external dose photons): external dose due to photons * Hp10n (external dose neutrons): external dose due to neutrons * I (internal dose): internal dose
