Dataset description

This dataset proposes the list of departmental councillors of Haute-Garonne, for the 2021-2027 term of office, under the presidency of Sébastien Vincini. * * * _On 29 November 2022, Georges Méric left his mandate as Departmental Councillor of the canton of Escalquens and as President of the Departmental Council of Haute-Garonne. On 13 December 2022, the Departmental Assembly met in an extraordinary installation session to elect its new President, Sébastien Vincini, as well as the members of the Standing Committee._ * * * **Data source:** Original and complete data from the National Directory of Elected Officials (RNE) are produced by the Ministry of the Interior and Overseas Territories. [The RNE is shared in the portal data.gouv.fr](https://www.data.gouv.fr/en/datasets/repertoire-national-des-elus-1/). We filtered the data to keep only those relating to elected officials of the Department of Haute-Garonne. **_These data were updated by the Ministry of the Interior on 31 October 2024. It is this data that is shared in this portal. The original data structure has not been changed._** An interactive map allows you to click on the geographical shape of a canton in Haut-Garon to display a bubble of detailed information: name of the canton, surnames, first names and functions of your departmental advisers. The [Departmental Council is the deliberative assembly of the Department](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/_d%C3%A9partemental Council). It is composed of 54 departmental councillors, 27 women and 27 men, elected for 6 years. They represent the [27 cantons that today make up Haute-Garonne](https://data.haute-garonne.fr/explore/dataset/cantons-departement-haute-garonne-perimeters/information/). Its headquarters are located in Toulouse, at the Hôtel du Département. An antenna of the Departmental Council welcomes you in Saint-Gaudens in the south of the department. To learn more about the competences and functioning of the Departmental Council we invite you to consult the article [The Departmental Council, instructions for use] (https://www.haute-garonne.fr/cantons). The departmental elections replaced the cantonal elections and the general councillors became the departmental councillors. The departmental councils are fully renewed at each election, every six years, according to a binomial majority voting method (for more information, [see the website vie-publique.fr](https://www.vie-publique.fr/dossier/268081-elections-departementales-2021-les-regles-du-scrutin)). The next departmental elections are announced on the [site of the Ministry of the Interior and Overseas Territories] (https://www.elections.interieur.gouv.fr/tous-scrutins/elections-departementales) for March 2028. * * * **Information relating to the publication of dates of birth:** Decree No. 2014-1479 of 9 December 2014 on the implementation of two automated processing of personal data called "Application Election" and "Repertoire National des Electés", which was the subject of a consultation of the CNIL, regulates the procedures for the collection and transmission of these databases. Thus, Article 5 of the above-mentioned Decree of 2014 explicitly refers to the dates of birth of elected officials: "I. - The personal data and information recorded relating to the persons referred to in Article 2 shall be as follows: 1° Surname, first names, sex, nationality, date and place of birth". At the same time, in its opinion No. 2013-406 of 19 December 2013, the CNIL explicitly authorised and validated the use of data recorded within the RNE.

Yes. Selected APIs include a free API quota, so your team can validate coverage, freshness, response shape and workflow fit before asking for a production plan.
Often yes, but usage rights depend on the source license and dataset. We surface source, license and update metadata where available, and can help review terms before a production integration.
Maintained APIs include update metadata where available. For production integrations, we can add history, monitoring and push updates so changes are easier to detect and act on.
