Declaration of the acquisition of goods resulting from reuse, re-use or incorporating recycled materials (AGEC law) * * * Article 58 of the Law of 10 February 2020 on the fight against waste and the circular economy (the ‘AGEC Law’) introduces the obligation for purchasers of local and regional authorities to acquire goods resulting from re-use or re-use or containing recycled materials. Decree No 2021-254 of 9 March 2021 and Decree No 2024-134 of 21 February 2024 on that obligation provide for the acquisition of goods resulting from re-use, re-use or recycled materials (17 categories of products) and the declaration of the proportion of their annual expenditure devoted to the purchase of the products and categories of products listed in its annex. The Decree of 13 January 2025 lays down the arrangements for declaring the share of expenditure relating to the acquisition of goods resulting from re-use or re-use or incorporating recycled materials.
