Sessions of the Higher Council of Education

This dataset contains the minutes of the meetings of the Higher Council for Education. The Higher Council for Education (SCE) is an advisory body chaired by the Minister for National Education. It comprises 97 members representing the staff, users and partners of the State in the educational action. The Higher Council for Education was set up pursuant to Law No 89-486 of 10 July 1989 on guidance on education. Chaired by the Minister responsible for national education or his representative, appointed by decree, the Conseil supérieur de l’éducation is an advisory body called upon to deliver opinions on: * the objectives and functioning of the public education service * regulations relating to programs, examinations, graduation and schooling * questions concerning private educational institutions and the staff of these institutions under contract * all matters of national interest concerning teaching or education, regardless of the ministerial department concerned
