Passenger air transport price indices

The Directorate-General for Civil Aviation (DGAC) compiles monthly passenger air transport price indices (IPTAP) from daily collections of round-trip fare offers on a sample of airlines with significant traffic departing from France. This panel is updated annually. Monitoring price index and air traffic developments makes it possible to observe the market as a whole. **Presentation of files** The **ASP_IPTAP** series (csv format) presents monthly IPTAP indices by large geographic beams. **Description of fields** - **ANMOIS**: year and month (e.g. 201801 for January 2018) - **MET_INTER_MET**: Departure Metropolis to domestic destinations Metropolis - **MET_INTER_OM**: Departure Metropolis to Outremer - **MET_INTER_TOT**: Total Departure Metropolis to all domestic destinations - **MET_INTAL_MC**: Departure Metropolis to all destinations at the International Middle-Courier - **MET_INTAL_LC**: Departure Metropolis to all destinations at the International Long-Courrier - **MET_INTAL_TOT**: Total departure Metropolis to all international destinations - **MET_ENS**: Set departure Metropolis to all destinations - **DOM_ENS**: Set departure DOM to all destinations - **FRA_ENS**: Set departure France (metropolis + DOM) to all destinations For details, see File **_Notice_Files_ASP_IPTAP_** of type Documentation in Resources. **Update** The **_ASP_IPTAP_** series is updated monthly.
