Critical care beds of healthcare facilities in France

These data are produced from the statistical databases of the [_Annual Health Facilities Statistics (AHS)._](https://drees.solidarites-sante.gouv.fr/sources-outils-et-enquetes/00-la-statistique-annuelle-des-etablissements-sae) This DREES survey annually describes the activity of public and private health facilities (number of stays and days of hospitalisation) and their associated factors of production (beds, places, equipment, staff). The survey underwent a major overhaul at the time of collection of the 2013 data, so that the previous data are not always directly comparable. The latest edition with results available is 2022\. Full replies from the institutions are available under [_data.drees_](https://drees2-sgsocialgouv.opendatasoft.com/explore/?q=sae&sort=modified). The data are updated and updated annually on the basis of the latest available ESS statistical base (delivered at the end of October each year).
