Dataset description

As part of the Hydrorun project, for the development of the modeling platform, a 10-year database of sea state data was created. This model with an initial regional footprint (including Mauritius) exploits the Wavewatch 3 sea state spectral code built on a triangular grid, forced by WRF wind fields and the global model G05 (Iowaga project). The model is then calibrated from buoy measurements from the Candhis network. Annual and quarterly swell summaries were produced (based on 10-year data). Among the summary parameters produced, the annual and quarterly average heights in metres are presented. Dissemination format: GeoTIFF (*.TIFF + *.TFW + *.lyr) and Netcdf (*.nc)
