Airborne geophysical data

As part of a three-year programme carried out by the Direction Générale de l’Aménagement du Logement et de la Nature with the assistance of the BRGM, an airborne geophysical survey campaign was conducted on the French Massif Central in 2022 and 2023. This campaign will also continue in 2024. Electromagnetism, magnetism and gamma spectrometry measurements have been carried out in order to produce data that can, in particular, increase geological and structural knowledge of these territories and better characterise hydrological, geothermal or mineral resources. The areas overflown in 2022 and 2024 on which geophysical data are available correspond to areas located in the French Massif Central and in the Vosges.
