Results by specialty, gender, status and department at CAP

The dataset presents the number of candidates present and admitted as well as the success rate at the CAP by department, specialty, status and gender. The Certificate of Professional Competence (CAPA) (CAPA for Agricultural) is a national diploma attesting to a first level of professional qualification. Its aim is direct entry into working life, but it also makes it possible to pursue studies. In particular, it allows direct access in the first professional class to a professional baccalaureate specialisation in the same sector. The observation date is set to June 30 of each year even if the date of the tests varies from year to year. Last observation: 2024 CAP session. Data available to researchers are available by year (CAP 2002, …, CAP 2024 etc.). Each dataset brings together all CAP applicants, regardless of their educational background (including individual applicants) and the department responsible for the schools attended (national education or agriculture). All specialities are represented (production or services) and the test result (per test) of each candidate is included in the file. One line corresponds to the number of girls/boys, according to their status and specialty present/admitted for a department.
