Dataset description

The value-added indicators for high schools are a set of indicators designed to assess the specific action taken by each high school to ensure the success of the students it hosts, in terms of success in the baccalaureate and support throughout their schooling. The IVALs allow a diagnosis that goes beyond that which can be made solely from the ‘gross’ pass rates on the examination. To give an image of the contribution of each high school, the statistical calculation tries to eliminate the incidence of factors of academic success outside the high school, in order to try to preserve what is due to its own action. To judge the effectiveness of a high school, the success of each of its pupils must therefore be compared with that of comparable pupils in comparable high schools. "Value-added" indicators thus accompany "gross" indicators. For each high school, the added value corresponds to the difference between the results obtained and the results that were expected, taking into account the school and socio-demographic characteristics of the students welcomed. The analysis combines individual factors of pupils (age and gender, school level at entry to high school, social profile) and factors related to the structure of the school (percentage of girls, share of pupils lagging behind, social profile of pupils and average grade obtained at the national diploma). Added value is a relative approach, not an absolute one. If the added value is positive, there is every reason to believe that the school has made its students more successful than expected given the profile of the students it hosted. If negative, this means that the institution’s performance is below the average of the institution’s performance. IVALs are broadcast only for public and private schools under contract. Access rates and their added value are calculated only for secondary schools which offer a full cycle, i.e. which receive pupils from the 2nd, 1st and Tale levels. Finally, the results in terms of added value and the number of successful candidates per mention are not disseminated when there are less than 20 candidates in the GT series or less than 10 candidates in the PRO series. Questions before production use

Practical answers on evaluation, licensing, freshness, versioning and support.

api.store is built and operated by Apitalks s.r.o. Company details and a direct contact path are linked in the footer for vendor checks and procurement review.
Yes. Selected APIs include a free API quota, so your team can validate coverage, freshness, response shape and workflow fit before asking for a production plan.
Often yes, but usage rights depend on the source license and dataset. We surface source, license and update metadata where available, and can help review terms before a production integration.
Maintained APIs include update metadata where available. For production integrations, we can add history, monitoring and push updates so changes are easier to detect and act on.
Production APIs can add SLA, stable identifiers, versioning support, history, push updates and direct support around the data your product or AI workflow depends on.
