Dataset description

Documentary fund of case-law of courts of appeal and courts of first instance is composed a selection of decisions in civil and criminal matters. The selection of decisions is carried out by the courts according to Decree No. 2005-13 of 7 January 2005 amending the code of the judicial organisation (regulatory part) and relating to the Documentation Service, studies and the report of the Court of Cassation. Prior art: from 1997 onwards. **The provision by DILA of datasets that may contain personal data does not exempt the re-user from compliance with the Data Protection Act, in accordance with document** [WARNING](https://echanges.dila.gouv.fr/OPENDATA/WARNING-Donnees_a_caractere_personnel.pdf) **To access the data directory under the ftps protocol, contact the Dila Data Administration Department at the following address:** [donnees-dila@dila.gouv.fr](donnees-dila@dila.gouv.fr) **DTD reference: DTD LEGIFRANCE** The LEGI, KALI, JORF, CAPP, CASS, INCA, JADE, ACCO, DOLE, CNIL and CONSTIT databases have generic DTDs in common and specific DTDs. Changing a generic DTD can therefore impact different bases. In order to simplify the management of updates to the DTDs of these databases and to facilitate the taking into account of the impacts at each change of one of the DTDs, DILA makes available a single repository of the DTDs of all these databases. This repository, named DTD LEGIFRANCE contains a DTD_Legifrance folder. This file includes: - All the generic and specific DTDs of the legal bases (excluding CIRCULARS) applicable on the date indicated in the name of the file; - A generic technical document for all databases; - A LEGIFRANCE_20170711_dtd_map.xlsx table that presents a view of the necessary DTDs per base and an impact view that indicates by DTD, the impacts on the different bases. Each time a DTD changes, a new dossier is published in the directory to replace the old one; it bears the date of the update of the repository. An indication of the amended DTDs will also be provided. **As part of the technical migration of the data production applications that feed the Opendata of the Légifrance site, some changes are to be expected in the XML made available.** **It should be noted that only the values of the XML tags are likely to have been modified, as their structure has not been altered. There is therefore no change in DTD or schema.** **This technical migration took place on the weekend of 25-26 November, so the new flow was made available from Monday 27 November. For more information, see Note_migration_technique_opendata_04102023.docx: https://echanges.dila.gouv.fr/OPENDATA/DTD_LEGIFRANCE/Dila_Note_migration_technique_opendata_04102023.pdf and XML examples: https://echanges.dila.gouv.fr/OPENDATA/DTD_LEGIFRANCE/examples_donnees_avant_migration_donnees_migrees_Dila_20231012/ for JORF, LEGI and KALI funds.** You can be informed of any subsequent changes to the judgments already published, by requesting your subscription to the mailing list via this [Contact form.](http://rip.journal-officiel.gouv.fr/index.php/pages/Contact form) You can write to us or subscribe to an alert by email addressed to: [donnees-dila@dila.gouv.fr](donnees-dila@dila.gouv.fr)

Questions before production use

Practical answers on evaluation, licensing, freshness, versioning and support.

Yes. Selected APIs include a free API quota, so your team can validate coverage, freshness, response shape and workflow fit before asking for a production plan.
Often yes, but usage rights depend on the source license and dataset. We surface source, license and update metadata where available, and can help review terms before a production integration.
Maintained APIs include update metadata where available. For production integrations, we can add history, monitoring and push updates so changes are easier to detect and act on.
Production APIs can add SLA, stable identifiers, versioning support, history, push updates and direct support around the data your product or AI workflow depends on.
