Measured air quality at the Auber station from 2021 to the present

RATP continuously monitors and assesses the quality of the air circulating in underground railway enclosures. Monitoring is based primarily on compliance with the hygiene and cleanliness conditions of the RATP spaces, both for passengers and staff. The RATP laboratory carries out continuous measurements at 5 stations representative of the RATP underground spaces (Châtelet, Franklin Roosevelt and Auber, Châtelet RER A and Nation RER A) which constitute the SQUALES network (Surveillance de la Qualité de l'Air de l'Environnement Souterrain). This dataset corresponds to the Auber station on RER A. The measurements concern the usual climatic parameters (temperature, relative humidity), air renewal (carbon dioxide) and air quality (nitrogen oxides, particles). This network automatically produces more than 200,000 raw data per year. The hourly averages of these measurements constitute the published database. Other parameters, such as ultrafine particles, aldehydes, monocyclic or polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, can also be monitored through ad hoc measurement campaigns.
