Terrestrial wind, wind turbine mats in Pays de la Loire

Wind energy is produced from the force of the wind, thanks to a wind turbine, which transforms the mechanical energy of the wind into electrical energy. The wind turbine or wind generator, consists of a mast on which is attached a propeller that turns the wind. Onshore wind is distinguished from offshore wind – or offshore wind (receiving more frequent, stronger and more regular winds than onshore). Origin Wind objects are points located at the center of the wind turbine mat base. The wind turbine information shall be retrieved from the single authorisation file and stored in the S3IC database listing the classified installations. The data is then extracted from this database. The dataset is directly connected to the SIGLOIRE website and its update is continuous.
