# **Tree and hedge planting sites in Occitanie** The Occitanie Region is committed to a "**Plan Tree and Living Carbon**" to mitigate climate change and restore biodiversity. **_Objective: _** Plant 231 000 trees each year in Occitanie, thanks to local actions and the involvement of everyone. **_Comment ?_** The Region supports the planting of local trees in cities and rural areas. **_Who ?_** **Citizens** ,**Territorial authorities** ,**Enterprises** , Everyone can benefit from the planting programmes run by the **Departmental associations or structures for the field tree and hedge**.
