Dataset description

List of 71 Fire and Rescue Centres (CIS) of the Hérault Department. The data was first entered into the OpenStreetMap free collaborative database. An overpass query was then carried out using the amenity=fire_station and operator=SDIS34 tags on the hold of the Hérault department. You can replay this extraction query at any time with this link: https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/1anx The original OSM tags are based on the description given on this page: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/FR:Tag:amenity%3Dfire_station#En_France The names of the fields have been changed to correspond to a more “business” use of the GIS layer. The OSM/field tag matches are as follows: — name = name — alt_name = secondary_name — ref = trigram (yes in Hérault is actually a quadrigram, but good...) — fire_station:type:FR = type — Ref:FR:SDIS:GRPT = grouping — Ref:FR:SDIS:CIE = company — Ref:FR:SDIS:PC_CIE = command_company The standard field may contain the following values: — CSP = Main Relief Centre — CS = Rescue Centre — CPI = First Intervention Centre The data shall be provided in the following formats: — GeoPackage (because it’s much better than the Shape!), containing a layer of polygons with the detailed grip of each CIS — CSV containing a layer of points with XY coordinates of the centroids of the right-of-way of each CIS, as well as an associated CSVT file that specifies the type of each field All geographical coordinates are projected Lambert93 (EPSG:2154).

Yes. Selected APIs include a free API quota, so your team can validate coverage, freshness, response shape and workflow fit before asking for a production plan.
Often yes, but usage rights depend on the source license and dataset. We surface source, license and update metadata where available, and can help review terms before a production integration.
Maintained APIs include update metadata where available. For production integrations, we can add history, monitoring and push updates so changes are easier to detect and act on.
Production APIs can add SLA, stable identifiers, versioning support, history, push updates and direct support around the data your product or AI workflow depends on.
