Dataset description

Quarterly series of the number of self-employed and turnover at departmental level, by sector of activity (published in the [**Acoss Stat**](https://www.urssaf.org/accueil/statistiques/nos-etudes-et-analyses/workers-independents.html)). ►** _[UPDATED](https://open.urssaf.fr/explore/dataset/planning-de-mise-a-jour/table/?sort=date _de _mise _a _jour) _: end of semester + ~200 days.** _Depth _: since 2015. _Source _: Urssaf **Indicators**: \- Number of administratively active self-employed (Urssaf registered) at the end of the quarter \- Number of economically active self-employed (Urssaf registered with positive turnover) in the quarter \- Total quarterly turnover _Methodological details _: * In the first half of each year N, treatment with effect from 31 December N-1 shall exclude AEs which have not reported positive turnover for two consecutive years. In 2020 and 2023, for management reasons, this treatment was not carried out for write-offs with effect from 31/122019 and 31/12/2022, postponing the write-offs to the following year. In addition, in 2024, the application of this treatment was carried out partially (only the EAs with missing CAs in 2022 and 2023 were targeted). To preserve the consistency of the series, the field ‘Administratively active’ takes into account a reallocation of late write-offs for the effective dates at 31/12/2019 and 31/12/2022, as well as an estimate of the missing write-offs for the end of 2022 and the end of 2023. * The _calage _ sector makes it possible to adjust the total number of classical IT and EAs per occupational group in view of the reclassification of certain ITs to the "nca _non _classé_ailleurs_" occupational group due to non-compliance with statistical confidentiality. Yes. Selected APIs include a free API quota, so your team can validate coverage, freshness, response shape and workflow fit before asking for a production plan.
Often yes, but usage rights depend on the source license and dataset. We surface source, license and update metadata where available, and can help review terms before a production integration.
Maintained APIs include update metadata where available. For production integrations, we can add history, monitoring and push updates so changes are easier to detect and act on.
Production APIs can add SLA, stable identifiers, versioning support, history, push updates and direct support around the data your product or AI workflow depends on.
