Dataset description

Quarterly series of private sector employees and payrolls, at the whole France level, by sector of activity at the aggregate level in 88 NAF posts. ► _[DAYS](https://open.urssaf.fr/explore/dataset/planning-de-mise-a-jour/table/?sort=date_de_mise_a_jour)_: end of trim. + ~70 days. _Champ_: private sector, general regime, excluding agriculture, excluding Mayotte. _Deep_: since 1998. _Source_: URSSAF; Dares (interim staff) The quarterly series of employees and payroll at national level, broken down according to the classification of activities into 38 posts, are certified by the Public Statistics Authority (opinion of 14/04/2020 – JORF n°0095 of 18/04/2020). _Methodological details_: * [employees](https://www.urssaf.org/accueil/statistiques/notre-methodologie/les-effectifs-salaries-et-la-mas.html) * [wage mass](https://www.urssaf.org/accueil/statistiques/notre-methodologie/les-effectifs-salaries-et-la-mas.html) * [private sector field](https://www.urssaf.org/accueil/statistiques/notre-methodologie/les-effectifs-salaries-et-la-mas.html) _ _ ** _ Warning (08/06/2023)_**: From the publication for the first quarter of 2023 published in June 2023, apprentices are included in the number of employees. They were previously excluded. (see [Stat’Ur n°362](https://www.urssaf.org/accueil/statistiques/nos-etudes-et-analyses/employeurs/nationale/employeurs-2023/effectifs-salaires-juin2023.html)). ** _Warning (10/06/2021)_**: The introduction since March 2015 of the Nominative Social Declaration (DSN), which replaces in particular the Consolidated Contribution Schedule (BRC), changes the reporting information necessary for the calculation of the statistical indicators presented in this publication. The new source makes it possible to calculate the institution’s workforce on the basis of individual contract data, while the aggregate workforce of these same institutions, historically present in the BRCs, remained transiently present in DSN. The integration of individual data into the statistical processing chain of employees, carried out gradually since 2016, was finalised in June 2021 on the occasion of the publication of the results for the first quarter of 2021. More significant than usual revisions, especially in terms of levels, can therefore be observed on staff compared to the publication for the last quarter of 2020. The workforce data is now 100 % from the use of individual data from the DSN (see [Acoss Stat](https://www.urssaf.org/accueil/statistiques/nos-etudes-et-analyses/employeurs/nationale/2021/la-masse-salariale-Juin2021-1.html)[n°](−)325). Questions before production use

Practical answers on evaluation, licensing, freshness, versioning and support.

Yes. Selected APIs include a free API quota, so your team can validate coverage, freshness, response shape and workflow fit before asking for a production plan.
Often yes, but usage rights depend on the source license and dataset. We surface source, license and update metadata where available, and can help review terms before a production integration.
Maintained APIs include update metadata where available. For production integrations, we can add history, monitoring and push updates so changes are easier to detect and act on.
Production APIs can add SLA, stable identifiers, versioning support, history, push updates and direct support around the data your product or AI workflow depends on.
