Dataset description

The map shows where in the urban area of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg there are heating networks and where a heating network supply is suitable from an economic point of view for the heating network operator and the respective building owner. The classification of the urban area into certain heat network suitability categories is based on an economic calculation of hypothetical ("imaginary") heat networks and a full cost comparison of various climate-neutral heat supply options (heat network connection, heat pump, pellet heating) from a building perspective. The hypothetical heating networks connect buildings in the city and are based on the road network. For the cost-effectiveness calculation, a contiguous number of buildings is considered together. From the point of view of the heating network, the supply of a group of buildings is economically viable if the revenues from the supply of heat cover the costs of the heating network (establishment and operation) and the generation of heat. From the point of view of the buildings, a reasonable full cost calculation of various heat supply options (heat pump, pellet boiler, heat grid connection) was carried out. Each building thus has a heat supply option, which is the most favourable based on the assumptions made and among the compared options. From these analyses, the statement was derived as to whether a building could potentially be supplied economically via a heat grid and how a heat grid connection compares from the building's point of view with the alternative heat supply options.

Questions before production use

Practical answers on evaluation, licensing, freshness, versioning and support.

api.store is built and operated by Apitalks s.r.o. Company details and a direct contact path are linked in the footer for vendor checks and procurement review.
Yes. Selected APIs include a free API quota, so your team can validate coverage, freshness, response shape and workflow fit before asking for a production plan.
Often yes, but usage rights depend on the source license and dataset. We surface source, license and update metadata where available, and can help review terms before a production integration.
Maintained APIs include update metadata where available. For production integrations, we can add history, monitoring and push updates so changes are easier to detect and act on.
Production APIs can add SLA, stable identifiers, versioning support, history, push updates and direct support around the data your product or AI workflow depends on.
