Die Daten stellen eine Übersicht der Versorgungsbilanz Eier dar. Die Erzeugung von Konsumeiern und Bruteiern ergeben in Summe die Gesamt-Eiererzeugung in Deutschland. Für jedes Jahr werden im unteren Bereich Verwendbare Erzeugung, Aus- und Einfuhr, Inlandsverwendung, Nahrungsverbrauch, Selbstversorgungsgrad, Verbrauch je Kopf, Bestand an Legehennen und Legeleistung je Henne angezeigt. Anmerkungen: Bis zum Jahr 1998 mit einem Eigewicht von 61 g berechnet. 1999 mit einem Eigewicht von 61,5 g berechnet. Ab dem Jahr 2000 mit Eigewicht von 62 g gerechnet. Ab dem Jahr 2018 pauschale Berechnung der Außenhandelsmengen in Tonnen (62g je Ei). 1) Bestand an Legehennen ohne Elterntierbestände, einschließlich Zuschätzungen für nicht meldepflichtige Betriebe mit weniger als 3.000 Hennenhaltungsplätzen. Einfuhr/ Ausfuhr in Schalenwert: ab 2011 Berechnung des Schaleneinäquivalents unter Verwendung der Eurostat-Faktoren (mit Jahren davor nicht vergleichbar).Inlandsverwendug ohne Berücksichtigung von Lagerbeständen bei Ei-verarbeitenden Unternehmen. Selbstversorgungsgrad ab 2013 bezogen auf die Konsumeierzeugung in Stück. Der Selbstversorgungsgrad ist das Verhältnis aus verwendbarer Eierzeugung zum Konsum und Nahrungsverbrauch. Selbstversorgungsgrad vor 2013 bezogen auf die Gesamteiererzeugung in Tonnen. Nahrungsverbrauch kg je Kopf: Berechnungsgrundlage Daten Zensus 2011. Die Werte des letzten Jahres sind vorläufig.
