Dataset description

The EasyGSH-DB feature service: Bathymetry (WFS), includes the annual bathymetries of the German Bay for a period from 1996-2016, the isolines (0.5 m) from 1996-2016 and the isolines (10 m) from 1996-2015. Definition: “Bathymetry” means the measurement of the topographical shape of the sole of a water body. The term is also often used — analogous to the word “topography” — synonymous with the shape of the water sole. Waters in this context are seas, rivers or closed inland waters. As part of the EasyGSH project, bathymetric data sets are those that represent the height distribution in the German Bay, including the estuaries of Ems, Weser and Elbe. Through morphological activities of the water soil, such a bathymetric model is only valid for a certain period of time or time. Data generation: The basis for bathymetric products are gridded bathymetric models, which are created using the Functional Ground Model, a data-based hindcast simulation model, via spatial-time interpolation methods from a database of sea and land surveys of various data types. For each year from 1996 to inclusive 2016, a gridded bathymetric model in 10 m resolution for the German Bay and in addition in 250 m resolution for the Exclusive Economic Zone for the year 1996 is produced. Product: One 10 m grid of the German Bay valid on 01.07. for the years from 1996 to 2016, with each grid node lying down the height. 250 m grid of the Exclusive Economic Zone (1996). The product is provided in GeoTiff and Shapefile format.

Questions before production use

Practical answers on evaluation, licensing, freshness, versioning and support.

api.store is built and operated by Apitalks s.r.o. Company details and a direct contact path are linked in the footer for vendor checks and procurement review.
Yes. Selected APIs include a free API quota, so your team can validate coverage, freshness, response shape and workflow fit before asking for a production plan.
Often yes, but usage rights depend on the source license and dataset. We surface source, license and update metadata where available, and can help review terms before a production integration.
Maintained APIs include update metadata where available. For production integrations, we can add history, monitoring and push updates so changes are easier to detect and act on.
Production APIs can add SLA, stable identifiers, versioning support, history, push updates and direct support around the data your product or AI workflow depends on.
