Data from the *Hannover Police Bulletin* published between 1846 and 1870, collected by volunteers with the Data Collection System (DES) of the Association of Computer Genealogy. [Description of source and project](http://wiki-de.genealogy.net/Hannoversches_Polizeiblatt) [Online search in data](http://des.genealogy.net/hann_polizeiblatt/search) The following columns are included in the file: — ‘Page’ — Name of the page on which the entry is located — ‘LastName’ — the surname, if necessary supplemented by the birth name (e.g. “b. dinse”) — ‘firstname’ — First name(s) — ‘piece’ — — ‘Culture’ — “Band” — — ‘date of publication’ — — ‘professional or similar’ — includes only information such as occupations and the like, but no reference to marital status such as ‘Bauerssohn’ or ‘Müllerswitwe’ and also no information relating to the offence, such as ‘thief’, ‘Vagant’ or ‘Landstreicher’. — ‘age’ — age in years. If a year of birth or date is specified, it was recorded. — ‘place’ — the place indicated for the person, several places also with certain dates such as "Donauwörth, last Munich" were referred to as "Donauwörth; Munich" is recorded. — ‘family status’ — e.g. “son” — ‘date’ — — ‘paragraph’ — Notice number in front of the name — ‘Complete’ — Marking that indicates whether it is a discharge — ‘professional reference person’ — in the case of ‘farmer son’, ‘farmer’ would be listed here — ‘reference Band’ — Volume of the message referenced or to which the execution refers — ‘reference point’ — digit of the message referenced or to which the execution refers — ‘ID’ — unique identifier of the entry in DES.
