Üblicherweise übernimmt dies ein Geoinformationssystem, in welches die URL des WFS eingebunden wird. Der WFS-Dienst zum Bebauungsplan stellt alle verfügbaren Inhalte von Bebauungsplänen im Planstatus "in Aufstellung bereit. Eine Darstellung der Inhalte wird nicht mitgeliefert. Jedes aufnehmende System regelt die Darstellung der Daten aus dem WFS selber.
