WMS Dangerous Goods Routes Kreis Viersen

The transport of particularly dangerous goods from a fixed quantity — outside motorways — is permitted only on certain roads in the district of Viersen (see § 35b of the Road, Rail and Inland Waterway Dangerous Goods Ordinance – GGVSEB). Roads forming part of the positive network or, if the place of loading or unloading cannot be reached on lines of the positive network, the shortest suitable route shall be used. The classification is carried out according to the existing road classification. These are federal roads, state roads, district roads and municipal roads. The General Decree determining the route for the transport of dangerous goods pursuant to Section 35a(3) of the Ordinance on Dangerous Goods by Road, Rail and Inland Waterway (GGVSEB) is legally binding in the area of the district of Viersen. The routes are updated annually.
