Der Datensatz beinhaltet Daten des LBGR über die Flächen unter Bergaufsicht (§ 69 Abs. 1 Bundesberggesetz) Brandenburgs und wird über je einen Darstellungs- und Downloaddienst bereitgestellt. Die Aufsicht über diese Flächen unterliegt der zuständigen Behörde (LBGR). Die Bergaufsicht endet nach Durchführung des Abschlussbetriebsplanes oder entsprechender Anordnungen der zuständigen Behörde zu dem Zeitpunkt, in dem nach allgemeiner Erfahrung nicht mehr damit zu rechnen ist, dass durch den Betrieb Gefahren für Leben und Gesundheit Dritter, für andere, Bergbaubetriebe und für Lagerstätten, deren Schutz im öffentlichen Interesse liegt, oder gemeinschädliche Einwirkungen eintreten werden.
