Berlin verfügt über 39 ausgewiesene und überwachte Badestellen, die im Sommer ein besonderes Freizeitangebot darstellen. Um die gesundheitliche Sicherheit der Badenden zu gewährleisten, überwacht das Landesamt für Gesundheit und Soziales (Lageso) die hygienische Qualität der offiziellen Badestellen während der Badesaison vom 15. Mai bis 15. September. Diese Daten enthalten aktuelle Untersuchungsergebnisse, Bewertungen der Badegewässerqualität sowie weiterführende Informationen zur Überwachung und zu natürlichen Einflüssen wie Algen, Wasserpflanzen oder Zerkarien.
