Dataset description

Das Landesamt für Natur, Umwelt und Klima Nordrhein-Westfalen (LANUK) hat im November 2018 das Solarkataster NRW veröffentlicht. In diesem Rahmen wurden Dächer und Freiflächen in NRW hinsichtlich ihrer Eignung für Photovoltaik und Solarthermie in hoher Detailschärfe untersucht. Dieser Datensatz enthält die Karte der jährlichen solaren Einstrahlung für die Dachflächen in NRW, die auf der Grundlage von landesweit verfügbaren, hochaufgelösten Laserscandaten des Landes NRW und Strahlungsdaten des Deutschen Wetterdienstes erstellt wurde. Die Strahlungsenergie wird in kWh pro Quadratmeter und Jahr angegeben, Verschattung durch Bäume, angrenzende Gebäude / Dachaufbauten und Geländeerhöhungen wurden berücksichtigt. Diese Daten enthalten die Strahlungsenergie in einer Auflösung von 0,5 m x 0,5 m. Sie wurden in den Jahren 2022 (Nordosthälfte NRWs) und 2023 (Südwesthälfte NRWs) auf Basis der zu diesem Zeitpunkt aktuellsten vorliegenden Laserscandaten berechnet.
