Die Trendkarte der Quartärbasis zeigt die auf NHN bezogenen Tiefenlinien der Quartärbasis. Die -100 m NHN-Linie veranschaulicht die Verbreitung pleistozäner Rinnen. Als tiefste Isolinie ist die -400 m NHN-Linie enthalten. Die Karte beruht auf Auswertungen des ehemaligen Geologischen Landesamtes (GLA) Schleswig-Holstein aus den Jahren 1977 und 1991 sowie auf Informationen aus verschiedenen Untersuchungs- und Projektgebieten. Sie wird in unregelmäßigen Abständen bei Vorliegen neuerer Informationen fortgeschrieben. Da die Qualität der Ausgangsdaten und die Bearbeitungsstände regional unterschiedlich sind, ist diese Karte als Trendkarte zur landesweiten Übersicht im Maßstab 1 : 200.000 und kleiner zu sehen.
