Description of the INSPIRE Download Service (predefined Atom): Aerial photographs are a photographic representation of the landscape. They show a real picture of all objects visible from a bird's eye view, such as the road network, buildings, water bodies and vegetation, but also location-independent objects such as cars, which were at the location taken at the time of recording. Because of the special imaging conditions (central perspective), an aerial image, unlike a map, does not have an exactly uniform scale. When photographing from the air, the differences in altitude in the terrain cause deviations in position. These increase strongly towards the edge of the picture. Through computational equalization and digital image processing, digital orthophotos (DOP) emerge from the original aerial images, which map the earth's surface to scale and georeferenced. - The link(s) for downloading the records is/are generated dynamically from Get Map calls to a WMS interface
