(WFS) - Seals: Monitoring of seals and grey seals in the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea from 1989 (LKN.SH - NPV)

This download service provides all seal and grey seal data available from 1989 onwards from counting flights in the area of the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea National Park. On the one hand, the data were collected during the seal flights in the months of May - July (littering time) and August - September (hair change time), but on the other hand also data collected during the grey seal flights in the months of November - April. Since it is a UIG corresponding complete transfer of the processed raw data, no methodological or biological filtering of the data was carried out. This meant, for example, that accidental grey seal sightings during seal counting were included, but should not be considered as a standardised method for determining stocks.
