Digital field block cadastre

The Digital Field Block Register (DFBK) is an agricultural land register. It contains all agriculturally used and eligible areas of the federal states of Brandenburg and Berlin with their location, size and other information. The DFBK serves as a reference system for the control of area-related agricultural funding applications and consists of field blocks and landscape elements. A field block (FB) can be used by one or more farms and represents a continuous agricultural area surrounded by permanent borders with predominantly uniform main land use. Landscape features (LE) are landscape features such as hedges, rows of trees, field shrubs, reading stone heaps that are located in or on the field block. Where a field block contains land that is not agriculturally usable and is not an eligible landscape feature, it shall be marked as non-eligible land (NBF). The digitalisation of the field blocks, landscape features and NBF areas is carried out on the basis of aerial photographs (digital orthophotos) in the offices for agriculture of districts and urban districts as part of the EU IACS procedure (Integrated Administration and Control System). The data provided here in the form of the FB and LE additionally contain numerical information on area shares in areas relevant for funding (e.g. nature reserves, NATURA2000 areas and others).
