Der Datensatz liefert mittels verschiedener Parameter Signalstärke und Signalqualität für Mobilfunkverbindungen der am weitesten verbreiteten Mobilfunknetzbetreiber in Deutschland. Bereitgestellt werden Daten für die Mobilfunktechnologien GSM, UMTS und LTE. Die Daten liegen getrennt nach Mobilfunktechnologie jeweils als strukturierter, trennzeichenseparierter ASCII-Datensatz vor. Die Parameter umfassen im GSM-Netz: RSSI | Telekom, Vodafone, Telefonica, Deutsche Bahn (GSM-R) UMTS-Netz: RSSI, EC/IO, RSCP | Telekom, Vodafone, Telefonica LTE-Netz: RSSI, SINR, RSRP, RSRQ | Telekom, Vodafone, Telefonica Die Messung wurde mithilfe eines professionellen Mobilfunk-Scanners im Inneren eines Messfahrzeugs und unter Verwendung einer Außenantenne in der Nähe des Fahrzeugdachs durchgeführt. Es wurde nur der jeweils beste Messwert für jeden Parameter und jeden Mobilfunknetzbetreiber zu einem konkreten Zeitpunkt extrahiert.
