Dataset description

Dataset for the display of health technology reports made in the three-year period 2020 – 2022 by the Regional HTA Centre of Puglia (CReHTA) to the National HTA Programme of Medical Devices (PNHTADM). Health Technology Assessment (HTA) is a multidisciplinary process that synthesizes information on clinical, economic, social and ethical issues related to the use of a health technology, in a systematic, transparent, impartial and robust way. Its objective is to contribute to the identification of safe, effective, patient-centred and best value health policies. According to the 2017 and 2023 DM HTA Strategic Documents, reporting health technologies to the PNHTADM is crucial for starting a process aimed at producing a document (HTA report) containing elements comparing the technology assessed against standards of care (comparators). Among the technologies reported to PNHTADM, through the prioritization procedure, on the basis of a series of explicit criteria (diffusion of the disease, unequal access, unmet needs, etc.) are identified those technologies that must be evaluated first with the production of an HTA report. Regione Puglia reports to PNHTADM through the HTA Regional Centre established by Regional Executive Decision 524/2018 and allocated to the Evaluation and Research Area of AReSS Puglia. The data set contains the list of technologies reported by the CReHTA from 2019 to 2023. Each technology is indicated by its name; it is specified that it belongs to the category of medical devices or in vitro diagnostic devices and that it belongs to one of the risk classes pursuant to the new European regulation on medical devices 745/2017/EU and in vitro diagnostic medical devices 746/2017/EU; the clinical intervention that it allows to perform, i.e. its “function” and the description of the reference population/pathology on which it acts, is indicated. In addition, for each reported technology, its comparator is indicated, which represents the standard technology with which it must be compared during the evaluation phase.

Yes. Selected APIs include a free API quota, so your team can validate coverage, freshness, response shape and workflow fit before asking for a production plan.
Often yes, but usage rights depend on the source license and dataset. We surface source, license and update metadata where available, and can help review terms before a production integration.
Maintained APIs include update metadata where available. For production integrations, we can add history, monitoring and push updates so changes are easier to detect and act on.
Production APIs can add SLA, stable identifiers, versioning support, history, push updates and direct support around the data your product or AI workflow depends on.
