High-level geospatial data

JSC “Latvia’s State Forests” offers free access to a high layer of vector data in *.shp format. It’s a great way to get rid of it. The layer contains information about high tigers in 2 meters increments. Data are prepared automatically using a ground terrain model with a resolution of 15 meters, made from the LIDAR ground point cloud (LGIA 2013. — 2019 Aerolaserxing data). Data are available in the LAS — 2000.5 normal height system. Automatically generated data, expressed in level ground terrain, form loops, connecting as many heights of the same value as possible. Such loops can be seen in high mile data on waters, bogs and plains. The data can be obtained by contacting us individually by email (lvmgeo@lvm.lv), as it is too large for downloading on the website.
