This section contains detailed information on various types of economic resources frozen by sanctioned persons in Latvia. The Financial Intelligence Unit of Latvia (FIU) publishes information only on the types of economic resources registered in public registers maintained by state institutions.* For example, real estate registered in the Land Register, capital shares registered in the Commercial Register, trademarks registered in the Patent Register, etc. No information is available in this section regarding other types of frozen economic resources of sanctioned subjects, the registration of which in the registers maintained by State institutions is not provided for by regulatory enactments. If the FID has information on other such non-publicly registered types of economic resources, information on them is included in the section [Sanctions Entities] (https://sankcijas.fid.gov.lv/buj).
