Air quality zones and agglomerations WMS

Nowadays, the problem of air pollution, especially in cities, is very acute. Pollutants in the air have the potential to change environmental conditions (not only air quality is negatively affected, but some pollutants are also released into soil and water), human health and ecosystems are harmed. Air quality management therefore occupies an important place in the country’s natural environment management system. Information on air quality concentrations in Europe is available on the Up-to-date air quality data portal developed by the European Environment Agency, while information on air quality indicators in Europe is available on the European Air Quality Index. The dataset contains air quality monitoring zones in accordance with the reporting requirements of the EC Air Quality Directive (2008/50/EC) (https://geolatvija.lv/main?geoProductId=177)
