Dataset description

Meteorological stations are a point-shaped shp file that summarises all basic and additional meteorological stations in the country where actual meteorological observations take place. The point layout of the stations corresponds to the centre of the observation area of each station. The file also contains information about the meteorological radar equipped with the meteorological Doppler radar "METEOR 500C", which measures the intensity of precipitation. The location of the meteorological radar shall be N:56,914275; E: 23,989783. The file is maintained in accordance with the Environmental Monitoring Programme 2015-2020 drawn up on the basis of the Environmental Policy Guidelines 2014-2020, approved by Cabinet Order No 130 of 26 March 2014 on the Environmental Policy Guidelines 2014-2020.
