Population of Latvia in municipalities

The dataset contains statistical information from the Register of Natural Persons (until 2021/06.28). Population register) on the number of inhabitants in local governments according to the address declared, registered, indicated and in which registration at the place of residence is not valid. Under the heading ‘Declared place of residence’ means the number of persons for whom the register of natural persons has a residence address in the municipality other than the person’s declared or registered place of residence. The section ‘invalid registration at the place of residence’ refers to the number of persons for whom the municipality in question is designated as the municipality of the last registered place of residence. Data are prepared twice a year for data on 1 January and 1 July.
