Pre-registered buildings

In accordance with Paragraphs [36](https://likumi.lv/ta/id/247207#p36) and [37](https://likumi.lv/ta/id/247207#p37) of the Regulations on the Registration of Cadastre Objects and Updating of Cadastre Data, pre-registration of a structure in the Cadastre Information System shall be performed on the basis of the information submitted by the cadastral surveyor, if he or she has detected a structure not registered in the Cadastre Information System during the cadastre survey of land or structure. Pre-registration of the building in the Cadastre Information System is carried out by the cadastral surveyor. When performing the pre-registration of a structure, the cadastre designation shall be assigned to the structure, the number of building plots and floors shall be entered, and in accordance with the cadastral survey documents received by the Service, the Service shall display the location of the structure in the land unit on the cadastre map. Taking into account that some time passes from the day when the cadastral designation is granted and the cadastral survey documents are submitted to the Service, in some cases the pre-registered buildings are not yet depicted on the cadastral map (for example, cadastral survey has been started and has not yet been completed). Pre-registered structures do not know the ownership of the structures and the cadastral value is not calculated, because the necessary data to be used in the calculation of the cadastral value of the structure is not provided in full. In order to make up-to-date information on pre-registered buildings available to the public, the Service compiles data on pre-registered buildings in the Cadastre Information System on a quarterly basis (in February, May, August and November of the current year).
