Breakdown of the number of persons with disabilities by disease form (ICD-10 classification), disability group, age and sex

Selected information on persons with disabilities for whom a positive decision of the State Medical Commission for the Assessment of Health Condition and Working Ability (VDEĀVK) on a specific disability is in force during the reporting period. Statistical data is obtained from the welfare information system LabIS. The age of a person shall be determined by the end of the reference period or by the date of death of the person. The overview is made by group of disease forms according to the classification of diseases and health problems (ICD10). The group of forms of the disease is determined for the basic diagnosis. During one reporting period, a person may have applied to the VDEĀVK several times; accordingly, one person may have several basic diagnoses. A person may have several groups of disability at the same time. Year: the reference year for which the information has been prepared. Month – reference month for which information has been prepared. Persons of legal age with disabilities together – persons with disabilities for whom a positive decision of the VDEĀVK is in force during the reporting period. Disability group 1 – persons with disabilities for whom during the reference period a positive decision of the VDEĀVK on the allocated disability group I is in force. Disability group 2 – persons with disabilities for whom during the reference period a positive decision of the VDEĀVK regarding the assigned disability group II is in force. Disability group 3 – persons with disabilities for whom during the reference period a positive decision of the VDEĀVK regarding the assigned disability group III is in force.
