The number of children with disabilities on whom a decision of the VDEĀVK has been taken regarding the need for special care, for receiving a transport benefit, the number of companion service needs by age and gender

Dataset - ‘Disability children for whom a VDEĀVK decision has been taken on special care needs, transport allowance, number of companion service needs disaggregated by age and gender’. Selected information on children for whom a positive opinion issued by the State Medical Commission for the Assessment of Health Condition and Working Ability (VDEĀVK) regarding the need for special care, an opinion regarding the receipt of a transport allowance or an opinion regarding the need for an escort service is in force during the reporting period. Statistical data are obtained from the Welfare Information System LabIS. The age of the child shall be determined at the end of the reference period or at the date of death of the person. A child may have several opinions during the reference period. The amounts displayed may not coincide with the number of unique persons. Year: the reference year for which the information is drawn up. Month: reference month for which the information has been compiled. Persons who have an opinion on the need for special care, together – children who have a valid positive opinion issued by the VDEĀVK regarding the need for special care. Persons who have an opinion for the receipt of a transport allowance in total – children who have a valid positive opinion issued by the VDEĀVK regarding the receipt of a transport allowance. Persons who have an opinion on the necessity of an escort service, together – children who have a valid positive opinion issued by the VDEĀVK regarding the necessity of an escort service.
