Occupied part-time residents

This package contains statistical information on the employment and unemployment of the population and the number of occupied, unemployed and economically inactive populations, their breakdown by age, education and gender. Unemployed is an unemployed person between the ages of 15 and 74 who has been actively looking for a job for the past four weeks and can start working within two weeks. “Occupied population” means persons engaged in any occupation, who receive remuneration in cash or in kind for it or who have income or profit. The population occupied by the study shall be those aged 15 to 89 who, during the reference week, worked for at least one hour in any work for which they received cash wages or wages in kind or from which they had profit or income, as well as residents who had a job but were temporarily absent during the reference week. “Statistical observation unit” means a private household and its member. Survey population shall mean all permanent residents of Lithuania. Statistical information shall be produced at national, regional, county and municipal level. Time coverage from 2021. The classifications used in the study are: Classification of economic activities (EERC Rev. 2); Lithuanian Occupational Classification (LPK 2012); Lithuanian Education Classifier (LT 2014); Lithuanian standardised educational classifier for classification of educational programmes by levels (LSŠPK 2014); International classification of employment status (ISCE-93) (English only); Classification of administrative units and residential areas of the Republic of Lithuania (LR AVGVK 2018); Total classification of territorial statistical units (NUTS).
