Opponents of the occupation

The set shall contain data on persons who have been granted the status of participant in resistance to occupation regimes in accordance with Article 5(3), (5) and (20) of the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on the Centre for the Study of Genocide and Resistance of the People of Lithuania. Information shall also be provided on state awards awarded to these persons in compliance with Article 4 of the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on the Recognition of the Legal Status of Participants of the Resistance to the Occupations of 1940-1990 and on the Evaluation of Military Degrees and Awards of Volunteer Soldiers. The collection shall include data on the year of birth of the person, the municipality of the data provider, the legal status granted to the person, his code, name and description, as well as the date of the order on which that status was granted and the number of the certificate issued. This information makes it possible to determine on what basis and when a person has been granted the status of participant in the resistance to occupation regimes and on what document this has been confirmed.
