Results of the election of Kaunas elders

The data set presents the results of the elections of the elders in 56 elders organised by Kaunas City Municipality since 2023. The elections of elders shall be held every four years and shall be organised by the Central Electoral Commission of the Elders of Kaunas City Municipality according to the Description of Procedure prepared by the Director of Administration (https://www.e-tar.lt/portal/lt/legalAct/08e28540a29211ebb9bbd96a0c51af2c/asr). The elder is a representative of the community who works on social grounds. Candidates for elders shall be nominated by residents of the ward and functioning community organisations. An adult residents of the ward who have the right to elect the Municipal Council may express their vote in elections by voting on the premises of the ward or online within three election days. For this reason, election results are portrayed according to election day and candidate. The package also includes candidate-related information: the date of nomination, who nominated the candidate and the nominee's identifiers, is obtained by encrypting the name.
