S1 Total economy non-financial accounts

The description of the statistical information shall consist of annual non-financial accounts for institutional sectors (hereinafter referred to as “accounts”) drawn up in accordance with an internationally recognised system of standard statistical indicators, which shall detail the development of the national economy. The main indicators of the accounts are assessed on the basis of the European System of National and Regional Accounts ESS 2010 (Annex A to Regulation of the European Parliament and Council (EU) No 549/2013). Accounts include non-financial accounts that describe various stages of the economic process: production, income formation, income distribution, income redistribution, income utilisation and non-financial accumulation. Classifications: classification of institutional sectors and sub-sectors (Annex A to Regulation (EU) No 549/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council). Statistical observation unit: national accounts examine the economy as a whole, which consists of various institutional units. The statistical (survey) population shall comprise all statistical resident observation units. Lithuania's national accounts are comprehensive, i.e. all resident statistical units are covered either directly on the basis of data sources (surveys, administrative data) or through completeness adjustments.
