Georeferenced addresses (BD-Addresses)

The BD-Addresses is **a subset** of the addresses listed in the **national register of localities and streets**, enriched by geographical coordinates. The basis of the georeferencing** of addresses is the **cadastral square** and the digitised cadastral plan** (PCN), the reference system of which may present lags vis-à-vis the Luxembourg Reference Frame (LUREF) reference system. The contact details of the address points may have as their origin: — manual placement — automated calculation (either at the geocentre of a cadastral parcel or at the geocentre of the largest building located on a cadastral plot) **_Remarks:_** — address points do not represent the actual entrance to the buildings — multiple address points may be located at the same geographical coordinates — the BD-addresses does not contain all the official addresses of the national register of localities and streets. A number of addresses are not yet georeferenced. — the completeness of the data cannot be guaranteed.
